One structured record
Animal information is kept together in a clear and consistent structure.
GraceWays Animals · AnimalHack cloud pilot
GraceWays Animals provides a protected and traceable place for animal records, media and organizational knowledge.
Access is by invitation.
GraceWays Animals · Current AnimalHack platform
Information often lives in scattered messages, notes and files. GraceWays Animals brings it together in a protected cloud pilot for invited animal welfare organizations.
The cloud pilot does not currently provide a complete Markdown or ZIP download. Local exports remain part of the separate historical browser prototype.
Animal information is kept together in a clear and consistent structure.
Participating animal welfare organizations work within their own protected organizational context.
Records can include media and remain traceable through stored revisions.
Before saving, users can ask GraceGuardian to identify missing documentation and defined contradictions.
A clear second look · Inside GraceWays Animals
Clear documentation helps animals find the right care and the right home.
GraceGuardian checks ten clearly defined documentation areas. It uses fixed, transparent rules to identify missing information and explicitly programmed contradictions.
You start the check. The results help you review the record; they do not make decisions for you.
Documentation check results
The check does not change or save a record, and it does not invent information. Saving remains possible despite these results.
GraceGuardian does not assess medical correctness or replace professional decisions. It is a rule-based documentation check, not a diagnosis or an autonomous decision.
No external AI service is used for this check.
How the cloud pilot works
Registration is available to invited organizations.
Open source · built together
GraceWays invites developers and animal welfare organizations to help build a free, modular platform for digital animal records. Contributions can include frontend and backend development, data models, media management, translation, accessibility, privacy and documentation.
GraceWays began with a browser prototype for structured animal information and local Markdown and ZIP exports. It evolved into GraceWays Animals: a protected cloud pilot with organization accounts, centralized storage, media management, traceable revisions and the integrated GraceGuardian documentation check.
Further development focuses on practical use in animal welfare. Planned improvements include differentiated team roles, better export options, multilingual workflows and controlled publishing of animal information. Each organization should retain its own identity and control over its data.
GraceWays CORE is envisioned as a possible shared technical foundation for complementary animal welfare projects. In the future, it could help connect suitable solutions from the AnimalHack community, potentially including recognized projects from earlier AnimalHack competitions. Any such collaboration would require mutual agreement as well as technical and legal review. No such integration or partnership is currently confirmed.
The project uses the Apache License 2.0. A verified link to the public source code will be added after publication. The professional concept and project direction are led by the initiative’s founder. Technical development is carried out in close collaboration with ChatGPT and Codex.
The vision
Each heart represents an independent organization. Select it to discover its animals, projects and ways to help. No organization gives up its identity — yet all could work from a shared, open platform.
“We connect people so that more animals can be saved.”
SunCats is envisioned as the first pilot node in this network. The map is symbolic; additional nodes represent future possibilities. The aim is not one central organization, but a community in which everyone can contribute.
